+How long will construction take?
A vinyl liner pool will commonly take about a week and a concrete (gunite) pool will commonly take about a month depending on outside variables (weather, building process, ect.)
+How often do I have my water tested in store?
It is recommended to have a water sample tested every two weeks to maintain proper chemical balance and to check for chemicals most can’t test at home
+How often do I run my pump?
The purpose of an allotted time is to ensure all the water in your pool is filter twice daily. A standard is 10-12 hours during swimming months and 8-10 hours during non-swimming months. Or you can divide how many gallons in your pool by how many gallons per hour your pump is pumping and multiply that number by two and that will give you the hours your pump will need to run daily to turn your water over twice daily.
+How often do I backwash my sand filter or clean my cartridge filter?
It is recommended to clean weekly because your filter is directly related to everything on your pool. The cleaner the filter the better water filtration, better pump performance and even better energy savings.
+Why are there air bubbles in my pump?
The air is coming from either a low water level in pool causing the skimmer to pull air through the suction line or a bad seal around a fitting at or around the pump and filter. Check skimmer for debris or low water levels and check the seal around plumbing fittings by running water over them.
+Why isn’t my pump priming?
First check the water level in the pool, then check the skimmer for debris or a skimmer flap stuck in the up position. Also check to make sure valve are set in the correct position and you may have to try priming your pump manually.
